To protect your product and your equipment, keg washer manufacturers strongly recommend using dry, oil-free compressed air to run the keg washer.  Compressed air comes into direct contact with the inside of the keg, along with any oil carryover from the compressor.  Oil can also damage some of the components inside the keg washer.
