Summary
The primary responsibility of this position will be providing hands-on technical support both at customer locations as well as in-house. This role will require gaining an in depth understanding of the function and application of Powerex Scroll compressors in hybrid electric and fully electric commercial vehicles in order to provide excellent support. Additional responsibilities will include supporting the NPD and Quality teams in new product development and continuous improvement of existing products.

Essential Duties
- Investigate issues on-site with customers and end users (frequent travel)
- Support product end users with technical information and training
- Review warranty requests
- Recommend product improvements
- Support sales and technical services in answering technical questions
- Create field campaign work instructions
- Able to travel up to 50%
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline is required
- 4-8 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with basic hand and power tools required
- The ability to work with other team members and support a positive work culture
- The skills to prioritize work assignments and meet deadlines
- Skills necessary to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Experience with root cause analysis preferred
