Summary
Directs the day-to-day functions of Powerex Operations by supervising, directing, and motivating staff. Organizing and monitoring workflow to ensure all efficiency and quality goals have been met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Accomplishes operational staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and/or disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, and developing personal growth opportunities.
- Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting operational results.
- Maintains product quality by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Provides operational information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions, and responding to requests.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
- Identifies errors with manufacturing routers, bills of material, and/or assembly drawings.
- Identifying and implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
- Establishes and maintains a close and productive working relationship with other departments and exhibits good cooperation and support of the cross-functional team

Supervisory Responsibilities
- This person will be directly responsible for 30 employees
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or associate Degree with supervisory experience in a production environment.
- Willing to work additional hours, including Saturdays if needed
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to respond via email or phone to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and customers
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts to the position
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts to the position
- Must be able to problem-solve daily operational and/or long-term planning issues
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
